SKEL lab is pleased to announce that the Big Data Europe (BDE) project team won the “Best Demo People’s Choice Award” at the prestigious ISWC 2017 conference for the BDE environment pilot: “Big Data Processing and Semantic Web Technologies for Decision Making in Hazardous Substance Dispersion Emergencies” by Athanasios Davvetas, Iraklis Klampanos, Spyros Andronopoulos, Giannis Mouchakis, Stasinos Konstantopoulos, Andreas Ikonomopoulos and Vangelis Karkaletsis.
