The Department of e-Governance is the strategic pillar of the digital transformation of N.C.S.R “Demokritos,” with the goal of developing a modern digital organizational culture and creating a secure and effective digital environment for the Center’s research and administrative community.
The Department of e-Governance designs and implements digital products and services that improve the organization’s day-to-day operations, supports users within the research and administrative structures, manages central information systems, and implements policies and procedures for the secure and effective management of data.
A central component of the Department’s digital transformation strategy is the D.U.A. (Demokritos User Account) – All in One Platform, a comprehensive digital ecosystem that streamlines administrative services and provides the Center’s staff with access to digital services, applications, workflows, and personal information through a unified environment.
At the same time, the Department of e-Governance has designed and implemented major digital governance projects, such as the RIview (Research-Innovation View) platform for evaluating the country’s research centers and institutes, which in 2022 received an award at the Ministry of Digital Governance’s Digital Governance Awards.
From 2017 to the present, the Department of e-Governance has contributed to the continuous evolution of N.C.S.R. “Demokritos” towards a fully digital administrative environment.
