She has studied Physics at Athens University and has MSc in Automation. She has been working since 1983 at the Department of Scientific and Technological Information of the National Documentation Center /National Hellenic Research Foundation, as coordinator of projects assisting the Greek participation in EU Research Actions, valorization and exploitation of research results and technology transfer and as coordinator of development projects of NHRF. From 2001 to 2015 she served as Head of Organization and Support Unit of the Management Authority of Operational Program Competitiveness. Since 2016 she is Head of Management and Implementation Authority for Research, Technological Development and innovation actions which is an intermediary body of the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (SPF 2014 -2020) co-funded by ERDF.
