In its 45 years of operation, the N.C.S.R. "D" sector of education has demonstrated more than 1250 doctoral theses elaborations, 56 hospital physicians specializations, 500 further trainings of secondary education professors , 230 trainings in peak technologies for graduates of Polytechnic Colleges and technical faculties, 120 specializations of scientists in radioisotopes techniques, 2500 lectures to college students, while, annually, the Centre welcomes over 5000 visitors for informing and for a conducted tour in its grounds and its laboratorial facilities.
The main mission of the Centre remains:
  • The carrying out of high class, basic, applied, and developmental research aiming at the generation of new knowledge and technology.
  • The conveyance of new knowledge and technology to others and the formation of know-how for the resolution of specific financial and social development problems.
  • The provision of specialized high technology services to both private and public institutions of the country.
  • The education and specialization of new scientists in new technologies and their familiarization with the generation of new knowledge.
  • The coordinated undertaking of research work of national importance.
