Demokritos receives the 2nd award in Applied Research and Innovation Contest for Excellence in
“Smart nanostructured surfaces and bioanalytic labs-on-chip”


Research work from a team in Microelectronics Department received the second applied research award in the competition of applied research and innovation, "Greece Innovates". The proposal entitled “Smart, nanostructured surfaces and bioanalytic labs-on-chip” encompasses innovation in nanotechnology of surfaces, embedded also in life science microdevices and comes from the team of: Dr Evangelos Gogolides, Dr Angeliki Tserepi, Dr Sotirios Kakabakos, Dr Panagiota Petrou, Dr Nicholas Vourdas, Dr Katerina Tsougeni, Maria-Helen Vlachopoulou, Antonia, Malainou, Kosmas Ellinas.
