NCSR “Demokritos” participated in the exhibition "NΑΝΟΤΕΧNOLOGY 2012 Expo”


NCSR “Demokritos” participated in the 2nd International Exhibition on Nanotechnologies & Organic Electronics, “NΑΝΟΤΕΧNOLOGY 2012 Expo,” that took place in Thessaloniki, 2 to 6 July 2012. The exhibition took place during “ΝΑΝΟΤΕΧNOLOGY 2012” annual event, which aims to explore the opportunities in the emerging fields of nanotechnologies and organic electronics.

Demokritos’ pavilion at the exhibition presented the Center’s current research projects in the field of nanotechnology. The goal was to inform the general public on the cutting-edge scientific research that is conducted at the Center, as well as on the application of these technologies in the development of innovative products and services. Demokritos’ exhibits caught the attention of the visitors, the media and the members of the academic and scientific community. The Center’s pavilion was also visited by the General Secretary for Research and Technology, Mr. Konstantinos Kokkinoplitis, and representatives of national and foreign technology companies.

For second year running, “ΝΑΝΟΤΕΧNOLOGY 2012,” a multi-varied array of international scientific, technological and entrepreneurial events, was organized by the Lab for Thin Films - Nanosystems & Nanometrology (LTFN) of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in cooperation with HELEXPO S.A. in the heart of the city of Thessaloniki, at “I. Vellidis” Congress Center, from 30 June to 7 July 2012.
