This project deals with the development of nanocontainers exhibiting triple stimuli response to cancer. The nanocontainers will be grafted with molecules that will first recognize cancer. The nanocontainers will respond to the local values of cancer such as pH, Redox and temperature. Once the cancer has been recognized by the molecule on the nanocontainers, they will release the drugs only when the local values correspond to the properties of cancer. This way, extremely local therapy will be achieved. The nanocontainers will also be excited externally through modest RF signals. This system will be appropriate for extremely local hyperthermia. This program presents a challenge towards cancer therapy.
